work vs study i realised that whenever i don't feel like studying, working will motivate me to go back to my task willingly. it is holiday again and i'm stuck in the small shop in westmall once more. in the shop, what we are doing everyday is clean counter..wrap present..look for new goods..pack gift..stoning..crapping..and simply all those life-less job. working may be good because: 1. we earn $$$$ from it! 2. experience (nice way to put it) 3. we meet different types of people 4. we dun suffer from brain exhaustion good rite? working allow us to earn more pocket money and see the society for ourself..but i'm telling you, you dun noe how fortunate you are to be schooling. here are some reasons why i choose schooling over working: 1. i do not have my teacher staring at me while i work n only at me. there are only 2 person in the shop. 2. working life is simply a repetitive process everyday 3. i do not find the meaning of going to work 4. i think it's useless to go down n stare at my colleague when there's no customer 5. in school, no one dare scold me right in my face. only unreasonable customer do so. 6. no one demand so much things from me in school than my customers. they act as if i owe them my life. hey! SALES GIRLS ARE NOT MAIDS YOU ORDER AROUND! 7. there is really no life. you do not have an aim. in school, at least we have our recess or lunch break to look forward to. you spice up your life with cca and pe lessons and class outings. friends are there for you and won't bad-mouth you in front of teachers. colleague will only remain as colleague. i just cant stand some tai-tais or aunties from a particular race who pester us around and not willing to take the display piece. there is this particular 'category' of ppl who simply ask for discount all the time. they acted as if they are in good ties with our boss. i hate it when they stare right in my face and demand " you better pack my stuff nicely ah!" shaking their head along. fish you for that. i'm just not someone who can be order around. thx me for not messing around with your stuff. i'm more professional than that. pls agree with me..enjoy the rest of your schooling life. go to work if you need a change. you will pray for school to open their doors to you again. (btw..schooling is not equal to studying ;) 5:28 PM
