i think my timetable for this semester sucks! lesson ends at 5.30pm for 2 of the days. so MANY breaks in between lessons. what do you think i should do with 4h of free breaks? crazy~ anyway, yesterday was the Freshman Ceremony for HSS and NIE School. talks were as boring as you can imagine. the ceremony was supposed to be serious. the professors made the effort to be dressed in their special gowns. but somehow we as students found it a bit 'funny'. i have no idea why but the atmosphere just doesn't seem 'matchy' with the with the whole thing. well, in the afternoon we got to meet our very own Chinese professors as a cohort. this year has only about 110 new freshies i think. found another jieying very soon after entering the theatre. bet there are more to be discovered in the time to come. 1 good thing about my course is that we addressed our professors as 'lao shi' and not 'jiao shou'. this means i do not have to change my calling habit =)
school is super big. can already imagine myself getting lost (seniors themselves do that too!) No tutorials for 1st week. yeap =D
